Bonnie’s broken canine was removed this morning.

I’ve been noticing that her upper lip keeps getting stuck on her lower canine. I never realized that the upper one helped guide her cheek over the lower teeth.

Bonnie’s getting nervous about her tooth extraction tomorrow. Or maybe I’m just projecting that on her.

Ally and I wanted to adventure today, so we went to the Ridgway Reservoir marina to go on a hike. At first I was surprised there wasn’t another car in the whole park, but it became pretty obvious pretty quickly. We couldn’t even get to the trailhead…the gross rain-on-show made the half-mile long paved path around the marina way too slushy to be pleasant.

Plus, there was a recently killed deer caracas and fresh coyote prints in the middle of the path about half way around. That made the rest of the walk a little unsettling.

There was a bunch of deer hair stuck to my boots when I got home.

Cindy has to apologize for Matt way too much.

Hannah is much more willing to pose for photos than Bonnie. Bonnie usually just shows up as a black blur.

Late day at work today.

Colorado is the hotness right now. It was a really beautiful drive home. I spent most of it with one arm out the window taking photos.

Also, kombucha is disgusting and is not a good way to start a road trip. I’m pretty sure it’s a diuretic.
