No Comments »I train clients how to use their WordPress sites, and WordPress’ relatively new post-locking feature has made it impossible for clients to look at the same page or post as me to follow along.
So how do you get rid of this popup?
Just drop this one line of code anywhere into your functions.php and it’ll prevent that popup from appearing:
Also remember to remove that if you’re in a production environment. WordPress added the post lock for a good reason, and it should only be removed temporarily or if you’re the sole admin.
No Comments »I went to Montrose today, and took the long way through Log Hill Village. Though the views aren’t as good, I think it’s really beautiful up there. It feels very mountainy.
Also, the wind between here and Montrose was insane. I kept looking for tornados.
Lazy day, punctuated with a fun wet walk with the dogs. There was so much to play in: deep mud, puddles, and a snow drift I didn’t know was thigh-deep until it was too late. Ally wasn’t as into the mud, puddles and snow as me, but I still think she had fun in spite of herself.
No Comments »I had an amazing Valentine’s day with my lovely wife. And it all started with this amazing salami sandwich in the shape of a…heart?
Then we drove to Telluride to go to La Marmotte for dinner. We pretended to be fancier than we are and asked out waiter “What is that exquisite flavor in the chicken pate?” When he rattled off the ingredients, Ally exclaimed “Ah yes, it must be the thyme!” They were also super perplexed by the fact that we wanted to keep our charcuterie appetizer on the table through the meal. At least 5 different members of the waitstaff offered to remove it for us.
